Underriner Automotive, an auto dealership in Billings, MT. established in 1929, hired MBT looking to not only consolidate their marketing efforts but increase traffic to their showrooms and leads on their website. As we developed our strategy during the discovery process, we found they offered more than cars. They truly considered their customers ‘family.’ This friendly-faced dealership also offered a 3-day return and 5-day exchange policy. Yet this benefit, along with many others, was not communicated.

In addition to price and item retail TV spots, MBT also developed a series of brand spots that highlighted what makes Underriner different. These unique benefits also found their way to instore signage and in their digital advertising. To reintroduce the Underriner brand to Billings, MBT literally put a face to a name and created a cartoon spokesperson, Mr. U. This character would also be the pitchman for the retail advertising.
